  • Yes, especially during meal times. It saves a lot of wash and scrubbing. I preferred the ones with sleeves

  • I found bibs to be somewhat usual during the early stages of life, but once solids were introduced at 4 months, they basically became useless. I just prepared for clothes changing after meals, and some snacks.

  • My two eldest children didn’t need bibs. They didn’t drool and I found it easier to feed them in just a nappy, then wash them. My 3rd was a non stop drooler. She has low muscle tone so when feeding her milk would dribble out of her mouth also. Bibs just didn’t do much, they would soak through in seconds. I ended up using the old fashioned cloth nappies

  • Definitely. They saved so many clothes getting food stains on them.

  • I used them and prayed they came our clean again iddnt care what they looked like it was just for eating

  • I used them fir convenience. And I mostly used the plastic backed bibs. So much easier to put on a bib then do multiple clothe changes

  • For babies I use the cloth wraps instead and toddler stage bibs

  • Always use a bib as it’s much easier to wash and dry than multiple changes on clothes. Nice wipe down ones like Penny Scallan are great as you just wipe it down

  • Its up to the individual a bib can stop the food from getting on their clothes or you just change them afterward

  • well to me you still have to wash something so its up for debate. considering babies are messy eaters most of the time.. they are useful and convenient if you are out and dont want to change there outfit becuase they look too cute it in..

  • I would try to use them but food would always end up going around the bib anyway. They can be handy though so save some of the mess!

  • With a son that vomits & dribbles all the time we love using bibs, it saves our lives.

We use the ones with a dribble catcher, it has been the best so far. With other brands the milk or vomit just runs through his neck, under his clothes because the collar is too big and loose.

  • I wished I’d saved more shirts by using them more. Eventually just stripped bub off and bathed afterwards!!! Ikea highchair for the win!

  • I love using bibs but always seem to forget or can’t find them at meal time….. I think this mummy might need to get herself a little more organised

  • Most of the time at meal time. Saves the clothes getting ruined from smooshed banana and other messy foods

  • You can now buy disposable bibs if you don’t want to wash they are great to take anywhere.

  • I always use bibs on my grandaughters I don’t think many mums these days do. It saves washing and kids always appear clean after meals.

  • Convenient but never in reach ????

  • Bibs are great…just remember to take of at nap/bed time and alls good.

  • Definitely bibs. Why ruin nice clothing. You can also make your own out of old towels. A bit cutting a few stitches or just a button here and there. Use older clothing as bibs. I actually use a bib at home for myself when eating spaghetti or anything that stains, because I seem to get drips on my boobs that are a dammed nuisance. love to all Lyn
