Hello!

Do you prefer cloth or disposable nappies or a combination of both? Cloth for day and disposable for night?

  • I used cloth nappies at the start but found they didn’t absorb urine very well, the whole lot would be soaked, so I ended up using disposable ones.

  • We use disposable.
I can’t really imagine using reusable as I wouldn’t want pooey nappies in the same washing machine as our clothes, towels etc!

  • I chose disposable as I had multiple kids in nappies at the same time. One of my kids had continuous bowel issues up to 14 runny poos with slime blobs a day

  • I mainly used cloth nappies when my babies were little (with disposable nappies when we go out). I did this for the majority of their first year

  • I would love to use cloth, but we are purely on tank water and wouldn’t have enough water.

  • I used cloth at home, disposable for out and about. I wish I had used more disposables and maybe have the cloth as a back up for when I run out or can’t afford more disposables. They’re so much easier

  • I must admit I always used disposable nappies, for day and night.

  • Day is good for cloth, night time is good for disposables. Travel is definitely disposable nappies. Never found a good way to use cloth on travels. Would love to know how mums do manage cloth on travels?

  • Cloth most of the time but when travelling we have had to use disposable because it was just too hard otherwise!
