Do you wash baby's hair if they have cradle-cap?

Both my kids had it and I just used normal baby shampoo and conditioner. It went away by itself after a year.
I know you can get special shampoos and stuff for it but I like to let things just run their course.

My boys both had cradle cap but i didn’t really worry about it. It will eventually go so just carry on as normal

Moo goo cradle cap cream is really good but there are a lot of creams u can get which makes it easier to comb of the cradle cap
