  • Yes I wear big long full skirted X backed pinafores almost all the time.

  • sometimes when cooking food that splatters like bubbling pasta sauce or fatty cuts of meat. definitely when cooking on the bbq.

  • I like it – it protects my clothes.

  • well i cant speak for women sorry but as a male i find an apron unnecessary unless i am cooking or baking something excessively messy.

  • I’ve just never owned one. Plus it’s my slaves that get messy usually haha

  • Sometimes I don’t and I always regret it as I’m guaranteed to spill or splatter something down myself :/

  • I personally don’t but my Mum always does especially when cooking for occasions – ie Christmas, New Year

  • I have an apron and will use it every now and then if I have “work” clothes on that I don’t want to get stained or I’m cooking with oil.

  • No I never do but the way I end up sometimes I wish I had.

  • I would love to wear an apron in the kitchen they are pretty useful i think it would be great.

  • I do! I even made my own apron! I have 3 in total. I wear it only when cooking, not housework. I do it to protect my clothes, and they are fun to wear!

  • I’ve never worn an apron in my life! I hate layers and I think I’d be pretty uncomfortable in one!

  • Occasionally I wear one if I’m making something that involves a lot of flour and kneading or mess. Not sure why they have fallen out of vogue, but they are still very useful and save on washing. I think they are practical

  • I have aprons and wear them sometimes but generally I cook on the run so don’t think the wear it.

  • I like to wear one if cooking something messy, but don’t bother for most things.

  • Pretty sure our ancestors wore aprons unless they relaxing, entertaining or out and about. Certainly saves washing larger items of clothing. I tend to hold the dishes against me while wiping them so a pinafore absorbs the moisture. They make good bibs.

  • I don’t wear one, but always have a towel over my shoulder or tucked into my skirt! I always remember my grandma wearing an apron – she would never start cooking without one – I guess times have changed and Mum’s nowadays are often too busy to even think about putting one on!

  • i would if i remembered to put one on – i get filthy when baking!

  • I don’t but really should. When I am baking I seem to get everything all over me. Honestly tho I don’t wear one because I don’t own any and I would probably forget to put it on anyway

  • No, normally have a tea towel draped over a shoulder tho.
