Hello!

Asking if others Spring clean or have big clean out? Our weather here is changing so I try to clean other things, curtains etc.

  • Basically I clean everyday also but every 4 months I clean out cupboards and throw things that are not needed or wanted anymore

  • No not really, just try to keep up with cleaning all year through

  • I’m a stay at home Mum so I try to keep the house as clean as possible (usually hard with a toddler) all year round.
I will do a deep clean just before Christmas, whether the house is already clean or not. And I always do a good clean before we have guests over.

  • I tend to have big clean outs at various times of the year.

  • Not so much spring, but January (post Christmas and pre return to school) usually results in a certain amount of clearing up/ cleaning out in our house.

  • Yes and it feels great to clean and de-clutter the home!

  • I sort of clean throughout the year – just whenever I think something needs doing.

  • Spring cleaning once a year. No more than once a year. I do this regularly If I had to do it once a year then I would be exhausted.

  • Thanks everyone Spring cleaning for me has turned into summer cleaning!

  • I have a big clean up at the beginning of every season. It helps with staying on top of everything and avoids hoarding!

  • I’m more of a spot cleaner than a huge once over kinda girl. I’m sure the house would feel and look like a million dollars if I did do it though. Since I discovered Norwex, I use less chemicals and do more smaller jobs more often. The toys are really overdue for a cull and clean out though…. 😎

  • Glad I’m not alone I do like to Spring clean

  • I have big intentions to have a huge spring clean every year but it never eventuates…

  • I cleaned the kids cupboards and cupboards out over winter and spent a week a couple of weeks ago washing walls and fans just did a room or two a day, always feels good to give the house a floor to ceiling clean

  • I have regular clean outs but with Spring comes the nice weather and the energy to tackle those jobs that require extra effort. Nothing like a spring cleaned home though. 🙂

  • I regularly clear out. I Have a bag in my laundry for kid clothes that don’t fit so they go straight in their from wash. I also focus on one room at a time and do a full clean ie skirtings windows etc all at once but only the one room at a time.

  • Great Replys ,Starting to feel we all clean our homes a lot ! Well I try ,having kids around ,clean 1roomnthey mess the rest !

  • I’ve started! Soooo many clothes the kids have grown out of. Why not hold a clothes swap with a group of friends for all your/their good condition, but no longer wanted/fitting items? I’ve done a few with mums from school and they’ve been a great excuse for a get together – with the added bonus of a few ‘new to you’ clothes which cost nothing! Fun!

  • I haven’t been personally but definitely going to try as I have a lot of stuff to clean out. Good luck!

  • Yes I spring clean , I do my blinds and cupboards etc I clean everything with sugar soap and a small amount of bleach
