  • Red and silver/ white baubles stacked in a glass bowl would look festive and nice.

  • i did candles and vases. fill with different sized baubles and glitter if you like.

  • Get a poly styrene xmas tree and pin lollies to it. Spotlight is your best bet, they are about $10

  • We get the kids to make up a GingerBread House every year, easy to do you an buy kits for under$15. its not all red and while due to the gingerbread but its made with so much love it doesnt matter.

  • If you have a small table maybe a little Santa with homemade little boxes/presents with ribbon.

  • A vase with beautiful fresh holly – the colour is magnificent and small red candles beside the vase. The reflected light is stunning. Be careful with kiddies if using candles.

  • Thanks MoM81879 – I’ll try Google for more inspiration, but I kind of like MoM165081’s answer, and her idea still leaves room on the table for some food under the centrepiece.

  • We don’t bother with such things. Our table is usually too covered with food to accomodate a centrepiece too. Have you tried Google? You might be surprised with what you find

  • Great idea Mom165081 – I love it, and it’s so easy to do. Thanks.

  • Baubles inside a glass domed cake rich on a stand always looks great – and keeps table space beneath it – always handy! We sometimes use the space beneath for fig/grape leaves covered with cherries and other fresh fruits for people to help themselves to throughout the meal.
