Hello!

Needing a little help! I am trying conceive this month. I have bought some ovulation test and I have taken them on the 2 of this month (may) my period ended on the 29th of April (last month). So on the second I took an ovulation test and it came back with a strong and faint pink line. How do I know when I’m ovulating? Do I keep taking test until the faint pink line is as strong as the control line? Or do I keep trying to conceive from the day I took the ovulation test? Any help would be great!

  • Its best to test every day after you’re period to get a clear idea on you’re cycle GL

  • I have never used one of thoose tests, but i have found it may sound gross but when you wee and wipe yourself look at the toilet paper and you will see a sticky substance( not a huge amount but a little) on it when you ar at your most furtile… Goodluck.. It took me up to four months to fall pregant each time using that method.

  • I didn’t use the ovulation tests. I used a little microscope device called “Maybe Baby” which I purchased from the pharmacy for about $70 (about 15 years ago). All I had to do was put a little saliva on the glass, let it dry, and then view it though the microscope, and depending on the pattern I knew if it was fertile or not. It was really easy and worked for me.

  • Good luck with your pregnancy quest. Nothing beats becoming a mum!

  • I would imagine the faint line would get darker as the LH rises indicating ovulation. LH is released 24 to 36 hours before ovulation takes place. If you have a pink faint line I’d probably try to conceive over the next few days. Also you are saying your period ended 29/4 so I think the 2/5 is a tad early possibly only day 9 of your cycle depending when the first day of your period was. Goodluck in trying to work it all out

  • Unable to help, but good luck with your baby plans.

  • We used the ovulation strips. A positive test for ovulation is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control.
    Good luck!
