  • Yes most definitely! I believe you have to keep the magic alive. They are only children for a short time!!

  • I still buy my daughter an Easter egg or two each year.

  • We do more easter baking now

  • I love anything crafty so definitely a yes from me!

  • Nah. My kids always made small craft projects at school, but we didn’t do any at home

  • When my nieces were little rather than give them big eggs (they got so much chocolate from their parents and grandparents) I used to give them a small one each and books. They loved the books and read them many times. I lost count how many times I read those books to them before they were able to read themselves. One of them actually remembered some of the first words of one book.

  • I love all the answers. Glad I’m not just being old fashioned.

  • My babe is too young for Easter gifts at the moment but when she’s older I’ll definitely be making her some! I still make them for my friends and hubby.

  • Yes I do! I paint boiled eggs and make presents. I put coloured paper in easter basket with chocolate eggs .

  • I will start soon…as my kids are just toddlers and starting to understand all holidays….

  • Its not old fashioned, just not something I do. Totally up to you if you do!

  • Don’t knock the traditions I say, if that’s something that you do every year they will wonder where they have Gone when they aren’t there.

  • I agree with celebrity’s comment that there is magic in making craft at Easter time and receiving chocolate eggs.

  • I’m glad the art of making Easter gifts is alive and well. I always remember being at school and the teacher getting us to make Easter baskets and after our morning break we would come back into the classroom to chocolate eggs in our baskets. Magic! Such great memories created as a child at school.

  • I think it’s very good of you. Keep doing that!

  • The last home made Easter gifts I can remember are the chocolate eggs my mum used to make for us when we were kids. My dad thought Easter eggs were a huge waste of money and wasn’t interested in buying them, so mum had to make them

  • Sure do – Easter craft and Easter gifts are fun to make.
Personalised presents are a delight at any age and stage.

  • No but I’m happy if they want to make them.

  • I don’t make it for them but we do make things together.
