Hello!

We are a family of game lovers and I feel like we have them all but I thought I’d ask what are your favourite family games to play?
We have recently discovered and enjoy ‘just one’ and ‘chameleon’ which have been super enjoyable for our teenagers.

  • I have a few go tos – I prefer the old classics. Our kids both love Monopoly (as much as that can go on forever), Uno and we also have a traditional family card game called ‘May I’. Our son is learning to play this as well and it’s probably my favourite!

  • The upside down game has to be the funniest game ever. Whilst miss 4 doesn’t understand it hubby, miss 6 and i laugh our bums off everytime we play. Its hilarious. The other game that our entire family love is loupin Louie thankfully a short game because young kids dont enjoy lengthy games yet. Oh and another great one is windy knickers, funny concept that has your kids hiding under the table

  • We love Codewords, one we discovered a few years back. Lots of fun. We are off on a cruise soon and I have bought some card games that I saw advertised that looked good. Ones that are good for families and kids, Exploding Kittens (the boys have tried this and loved it) Piles ( watched the video and looks like fun). Uno is an all time favourite.

  • One of the most favourite games in our family is a Dutch game called Jakkolo (in Dutch it is called sjoelen). You can buy it here in Australia online (for example ebay) and you look at a couple hundred dollars.
It’s a long narrow wooden table top board which has four holes and you have to aim to slide the discs through these holes.

  • I recently played Uno No Mercy with my siblings and in laws and it was so much fun. These rules are brutal. At one point I had a hand of 35 cards, which was then passed around the room many times. You go through a lot of emotions very quickly. You think you have a chance of winning, then suddenly you have the worst cards in the room
