Marinated Pork Ribs are a hit in our household recently (I think the kids just enjoy eating with their hands!) You can also slow roast them in the BBQ. Other than that I think Lamb is a classic meat that is perfect done on a BBQ~!

We love kebabs on the bbq – always great when we make our own and perfect on the bbq as they don’t fit in our stove top pan.

I love a marinated deboned pork loin, lamb leg or whole chicken. So easy, doesn’t take too long to cook and you can mix it up with different marinade mixes

Sausages (you can get various flavours if you want to), lamb shops – It’s many years since mutton has been in shops in SA according to what I was told. Meat patties (you can add grated vegetables such carrots to the mixture, eggs cooked in special rings so they don’t run everywhere, I have even had mushrooms cooked on a bbq done in 1 to 1/2 minutes but make sure bbq plate isn’t too hot. You can also do thck slices of potato.

Rotisserie lamb. If your bbq has an attachment for this and you want a lazy Sunday lunch/dinner. This is a great option. Also gets everyone outside for hours to play while dad cooks

My son usually cooks chops, hamburgers and chicken on the barbecue. He loves using the bbq when ever he can.
