I’m very sorry for your loss.

I feel for you, the first one without them is really hard. I have lost both my dad and FIL, so I tend to avoid places where people are celebrating with theirs.

I find the first Christmas is very difficult too, and next birthdays for all family members who miss the deceased person too.

My thoughts are with you. All those firsts when we lose a love one are very hard. It does get a little easier as time goes but those we have lost are always in our thoughts. I have lost my father so it is hard for me having to buy my father-in-law gifts when I don’t have my father here. I still do it though.
