When you have a newborn and you are breastfeeding could there be a risk to your baby if you were to get the flu injection?
Pretty sure your GP or local chemist would be the best people to ask this
I don’t think so. I had a flu injection after Bub was born, it was actually recommended by my gp.
I agree to consult a health professional. I had a flu vaccination when pregnant but not sure about when breastfeeding – my feeling is it would be find (and better than getting the flu)
Consult your Dr. or General Practice Nurse at your Medical Centre. Is there a Health advisory service that you can ring for advice.
Would you like to add a written rating or just a star rating?
