Hello!

I was just wondering if you could help me with food ideas for my daughters first birthday. She is having older children at her party too. I’m also interested in some craft and game ideas.

  • Sausage rolls, party pies, and sandwiches will fill them up, a craft table is a great idea, pass the parcel and a treasure hunt. Hope this helps.

  • Marshmellow Tea cups! Jelly cups, hommus dip cups, decorate your own cup cakes, and cake made from fruit!

  • love the craft table idea!! if its not too hot do a make you own sundaes table with lots of fruit and sweets

  • Set a craft table up in the yard with paper glue and all sorts of things for the kids to just make themselves. I would also have a sausage sizzle and some potatos and salad as the main party food and then just put out whatever you think Is appropriate for the junk food

  • Oh and dip with carrots, celery, cucumber cut into sticks.

  • My my daughters first birthday, I made sushi, fruit kebabs with cut out shapes, various sandwiches, cupcakes with natural food colouring, just to name a few. The grown ups, older kids and the littlest we’re we thrilled. As for games, musical chairs, pass the parcel (small gift inside for every kid).

  • I hate the thought of filling kids up on sugar and junk, it just doesn’t sit well with me. Some great healthy party foods include celery sticks filled with peanut butter, and topped with sultanas and coconut, sausage rolls with grated zucchini and carrot snuck in, veggie pizza is usually a huge hit, rice crackers with cheese cubes, hommus and other homemade dips with Byron bay corn chips and veggie sticks, fruit kebabs, and then of course we feel not so bad when they stuff themselves on cake and ice-cream at the end, lol.

  • We had an afternoon tea for my daughter. I had a pink, purple and silver theme and had cupcakes, sandwiches, biscuits, lollies and dip along that theme.

  • We love a good old fashioned sausage sizzle. They fill up on bread and meat rather than sugar! You could do a treasure hunt (similar to an Easter egg hunt). Then they get to run around and have fun.

  • At one, unlikely to get too interested in the games and food but for the bigger kids, mini sausage rolls warmed up, mini cupcakes, little jelly cups with strawberries and cream and a spoon,

  • Maybe a little dancing game and music as she might be a bit young for organised games. Fairy bread and little muffins would be good as well as cut up melon and other fruit.

  • fairy bread vhocolate slices cupcakes pies sausage rools sandwhiches tea cups popcorn

  • frankfurts r good sauage rolls , pies , cup cakes maybe pass the parcle for a game.
