  • I would try picking it out.

  • I would place some brown paper over the wax and iron over it with a warm iron. The wax will melt and hopefully be absorbed into the brown paper. Kitchen towels might do the same job

  • ice then scarape it off the carpet

  • Try icing it – if you can make it really cold it’s easy to pick out/off

  • these are good tips to know! i try to have good holders for the candles

  • Unfortunatly I have no help but that is really no good! Glad it didn’t cause any major damage

  • brown paper over the wax and iron on a low setting keep changing the paper until its all been melted and mopped up

  • Put an icebrick or similar in a plastic bag so the carpet doesn’t get wet, sit on wax to make it harden, then scrape off with a blunt knife

  • put a brown paper bag over the stain and then iron over it – the wax should soften and absorb into the bag

  • I will keep some of these in mind if I should ever spill candle wax!

  • I’ve never heard of some of these but I will keep it in mind if I ever get candle wax on my carpet.

  • A warm iron and brown paper does work in the carpet put not on the wall.

  • there are some good comments here

  • Boiling water, one melted pick up with cloth.

  • Have tried the iron and brown paper bag which woked in part but still left a mark/stain on the carpet.

  • a warm iron and brown paper

  • Sorry I never had that happen to me, I hope you found a solution by now!

  • Very low heat iron – put a brown paper bag over the waxed carpet and then iron over it. Will melt wax on paper. Keen iron low so you don’t burn your carpet.

  • I hope some of the advice below has helped.

  • Whilst you may be able to get the wax out some candles have dye that may stain. I know this from experience. Good luck!
