  • I had 3 miscarriages before my eldest and understand your feelings. Then my eldest was 10wks early with a birth weight of 880gm and when I fell pregnant with my 2nd the fear that something would go wrong was there again. Because of the history they wanted to do a scan weekly, which shows my fear was real. It’s easy to say don’t stress, it’s hard to control those feelings. However what you can do is talking about those feelings especially with the professionals as they may be able to reassure you and take away some of your fears.

  • It’s very reasonable to be concerned a miscarriage could happen again, especially if your last one was for no obvious reason. Try not to dwell on it, think of the 2 successful pregnancies you’ve had :)

  • Your body functions better when your not stressing!
Just relax and as sad as any loss is, everything happens for a reason!
Hope you are blessed with your third tho, many wishes xx

  • Its fine to be worried, but don’t let it get to you, as it can over take your life.

  • great answers from the mums
try not to stress for the baby

  • I had 2 miscarriages before my youngest two kids. I also worried, there really is no easy answer to your question. You just need to have faith in God or the universe (whatever your beliefs are) that every thing will be alright. Try as best you can to enjoy your pregnancy and relax. Try not to stress, cause that only makes you feel worse.

  • It was a few months ago you wrote, I hope all is going well.

  • stay positive!

  • Try not to stress and worry yourself to much. as hard as it may be you have to stay positive and think positive :)

  • I lost two babies and I have 2 beautiful girls now, but was terrified everytime I fell pregnant and worried until I was past 12 weeks. It is really hard, I just kept thinking If I was doing everything right that is all you can do and try to stay positive.

  • don’t stress yourself out about it, take it easy and everything wil be ok

  • Easier said than done, but you really have to try and not stress too much, as that will just make things worse. If you find yourself getting wound up and upset, thinking about what happened before, try and do something to distract yourself, whether it’s giving yourself a facial, or phoning a friend, or doing something around the house or garden. Good luck, I hope all goes well for you.

  • Don’t stress about it! If anything stressing is only going to make it worse!

  • there are some good comments here

  • i have this fear everytime i get preg, i have had 4 misscarriages so far and no successful pregnancy yet

  • i went through this every day i though i was going to get my period it was horrible

  • I feel like you, although we miscarried with our first so haven’t run the full gauntlet yet. We’re now just over the number of weeks we were when we miscarried first time & so far everything seems to be going better than last time. The first time we went to the dr really early & I felt that she stressed us out but being overcautious so I didn’t enjoy it first time but this time we haven’t seen the Dr yet & I feel so much better – not stressed at all. I hope you’re feeling better and everything is going well so far.

  • Stressing won’t change anything. So jus enjoy being pregnant

  • Some good advice there below.

  • I know how you’re feeling, I miscarried and thought I was miscarring with my second pregnacy, my doctor advised me to rest and try not to worry. Luckily, everything settled down and we were blessed with a healthy baby. Good luck, rest and try not to worry.
