Has anyone been to mount Gambier?

We are looking at having 2 night stopover at Mount Gambier. Has anyone been there and can recommend somewhere nice to stay or some nice things to do there.

nope but google the area and there will be heaps of suggestions. i might even google it myself as i have never been there!
