I’ve done this one before, using a small round cake tin and a similar size bowl. I propped it up using a couple of small dishes. I’ve done another one where I drew Yoda on using buttercream icing.
Another option is to decorate with small toys. I use google for inspiration
I cheat. I buy small figurines off ebay – either little toys or lego minifigs. The kids love it though, because they get a small extra toy after I’ve washed it!
Any cake would be difficult. Have you considered making a cake and just adding an edible picture to it? You can buy all sorts of different pics at cake shops
My daughter wants to have a Star Wars party for her 5th birthday. I’m thinking of doing a death star cake with a normal round tin and then just shaping it like a half a death star not a full sphere. There’s also cake tins online for Darth Vader, R2D2 (probably the other choice I’ll think on) and others.
