Hello!

Does it work well? Is it easy to use? Any advice on whether to use it or not?

  • Make sure that your child is not one that will constantly misplace the card as there is a $25 replacement fee (might even be more then that now)

  • I use Spriggy for my youngest who is 12. and a bit of a shopaholic. I didn’t want her having access to her bank account which is entirely for savings that only I contribute to. I love the convenience of being able to say “just use your Spriggy” when there is nothing she will eat for lunch (which is often because she is very fussy) but the best feature IMO is that I can see how much she is spending and where she is spending it. That especially came in handy when she had her first unsupervised outing to the shops with her friends!

  • I recently joined for my daughter. Struggled a bit to get it started – went to and fri waiting for confirmation of accounts or something. I still have to get used to moving the money to parent account and then to child account. My daughter loves the concept.

  • I signed my kids up for it and for the first year there was no cost and then it was $30 per card after that. I had some kids who didn’t use it so I closed the accounts as with 4 kids, it added up.

  • My kids love it. Only downside is, no cash at all, just debit. So if they want the money in hand, you need to have that set up. But it’s so simple and easy and you can set up chores that they get paid for.

  • I’ve never heard of this app before! Thanks for putting it on my radar!

  • I use it for my kids. It is so simple and they love it.

  • We have just signed up and are waiting on our cards to arrive. It sounds like a great idea for pre teen kids to learn to save/do banking. Heard great things about it, so looking forward to using it.

  • Use it for both my girls, 14 and 7. It is great. Only downside is they can’t withdraw cash…

  • I’ve used it briefly in the past but I wasn’t crazy about it.

  • I just googled it.I have never heard of this before .Seems it was quite good have.

  • I just had a look. It may be a good system for younger kids, but not for older kids I think. I remember when my eldest 2 went to primary school in Sydney, the school provided a kind of similar system (which we never joined).

  • Was going to look in to it as know a few people with it and have found it to be a positive thing for their children to have.

  • Sorry never heard about it.

  • Oooohhhh, new to me, I’m going to have to check it out and learn all about it
