Have any other mums been told all babies are lactose intolerant?

Hello!

On a recent health check up for bub, I was told all babies are born lactose intolerant. Yet they survive on milk :/ no wonder new babies have so many tummy troubles

I’ve never heard this and it doesn’t seem to make sense given that babies live on milk for the early part of their lives.
