My son too has Autism, although they refuse to officially diagnose him as he is extremely mild. I guess I was lucky, my best friends brother is also autistic. There are forums and blogs on Facebook for parents with autistic children where you can find people in your area with the same issues. You just need to search for them. It’s hard and a very lonely world but I treat my son the same as I do his brother, it seems to have helped when treating his behaviour and made it easier to get babysitters so I an get some time to breath
