Hello!

Has anyone had a knee dislocation and during Recovery had to travel. While I have a lot of movement and can walk pretty well I traveled for an hr in the car and it’s very swollen and sore. Now I have a trip coming up where I’ll be driving for 3plus hours does anyone have any tips or tricks to help?? Tia

  • If you have to drive yourself and this is causing the issue, could you possibly get soneone else to drive for you? Would bring the passenger make it easier for you?

  • Hi Tia was hoping some moms would have replied but alas no.
I have not travelled with a dislocated knee so unfortunately not a lot of help..I am assuming you will be the passenger and not driving yourself which in this case I would suggest if possible raising your leg, taking a short break every hour and taking a short walk, wearing some good compression socks, and taking some anti- inflammation tabs or pain tabs, but most of all stay hydrated.
Hoping you have received some better advice ..maybe Chemist or Dr. and things work out well.
Wishing you all the very best.
