There are quite some theme park at the God Coast which are a lovely activity for a seven year old child `and yourself 😉 Dream world for example is a must do. You can get combination packages for a relative good price. A Movie World, Sea World, & Wet’n’Wild 5-Day Pass for example is $179 for a 5 day pass ! We also like visting zoo’s, which is nice for young and old.

Currumbin Bird Park would be great for a 7 year old! There is also Fleas which has a pretty decent variety of Aussie animals also. I went last year and my kids both LOVED GC Aqua Park, which is an inflatable water park that is great for kids and adults. They have a section for younger kids too if she is not confident on some of the bigger stuff. Sea World, Wet N Wild and Movie World would also be fun and you could get a 3 park pass for that. I do prefer Dreamworld, but an older child would probably get more out of it. Ripleys Believe it or Not is also quite fun and interesting too.
We also enjoyed a night market at Surfers Paradise, which I believe is every Saturday night, but you would need to double check.

I took my son to Movie World and he absolutely loved it — there were lots of kid-friendly rides and shows, and it was easy to spend a whole day there.
