Strepsils anti bacterial and anaesthetic cough lollies. They kill germs and numb the throat. Or there’s good old ice cream, I’m sure he’ll love that :))))

Honey is good for the throat, or give him cold things like ice cream or yoghurt.

get him to suck of ice and also honey is good for soothing the throat

I hope you’ve been able to see the ENT. I find sometimes a hot milo can help soothe a sore throat.
