Been trying to lighten my armpits by reducing use of deo, scrubing gently with brown sugar and honey. Haven’t tried applying any citrus juices which others claim to actually help. But does it really work and won’t sting??

  • If you go to an Asian grocer or cosmetic store they usually stock deodorants that are specifically for whitening armpits. They have all the whitening products for skin, face and the like.


  • I didn’t realise this was a thing but perhaps check with a skin aesthetician.


  • Just embrace your body! Everyone is different and I feel that everyone is always trying to be like a celebrity or someone else without seeing that they are beautiful just as they are! Embrace it

  • Peroxide, baking soda and white vinegar mixed together into a paste. Rub it into the stained area, let it sit for 10 min then wash in hot water, works a charm!

  • If your armpits don’t get sunlight then the skin may become dark. I’m not sure if you’re referring to your skin, or the hair pigment showing through underneath.


  • Why do you want to lighten your armpits? I’ve never heard of this before, so it’s hard to make suggestions.


  • Lemon juice will lighten it yes, but it will probably sting and it will affect the pH balance of the skin. Why are you against commercial whitening products?

  • Depending on what you mean… but I’ve been getting laser for years and that’s helped
