I asked my daughter what she wanted for her birthday and she said she wanted an Octonauts birthday.
So we had cake and themed food and I dressed her up as her favourite character and invited her friends, who she chose to invite.
Her third birthday was the first one she got to have a say in.

We kept the cake and food and celebrations simple and took lots and lots of pictures for keepsakes.

We went a weekend away for my youngest 3rd birthday and enjoyed sun, sea, beach and sand. No cake, but we brought some presents with us.

Nothing so special for my daughter’s third birthday because we had just moved to another country and were staying in a serviced apartment. There was a kids club in the building and the girls working there had made a cake for her and we celebrated with the kids that where at the kids club on the day.
