How do I rid scale from on my tomato plants?

I found scale on my cherry tomato plants. I used white oil but it does not seem to do anything. Does anyone know of anything else I could try?

Garlic and chilli in a bottle, add hot water, let it sit steep and cool. Then spray away

White oil usually does it. Try brewing garlic in hot water, let it cool and apply. Go to your local nursery for more advice
