Getting into a beauty routine can be as simple as applying the beauty products after your daily shower.

I have the most complex beauty routine!
Simple advice though would be to find out your skin type and shop for simple things like a toner, syrum, face cream and eye cream.
If you want to go all out you can get tools like a derma roller, facial roller, cryo mask, sheet mask, LED mask, gua sha tools and the like!
If you’re really not sure just go to a store like mecca or even myer and ask them to help you out. They will have people who will be able to assess your skin and recommend some items.

All the responses are great, I would only add that the products are all trial and error,what works for one may irritate another or not be strong enough. If you can get your hands on samples to see what works best for you and your skin type and then stick to your routine.

First thing you should do is figure out your skin type, whether you are dry, combo, oily and go from there. If in doubt, there are plenty of skin consultants at stores like priceline etc that can help you!

Start with a good moisturiser. If you ask me, that’s the basis. If you have time, you can visit somewhere like Myer and walk out with samples from a bunch of brands. That’ll help you find the one you want to buy.

Keep it simple. Its easy to get caught up in the millions of products available but the main items i suggest is cleanser (double cleanse at night to remove makeup etc) a moisturiser and spf. If you start with that your on track. Then you can step up from there if you want and start looking at eye creams, night cream and serums.

I’ve very recently started a regime that involves daily cleansing and moisturising , I also exfoliate in the shower. Super simple!

As others have said you need a good cleanser (not too drying), a good moisturizer and maybe a nice serum before that. Most importantly sunscreen during the day! And drink plenty of water. Don’t depend big on skincare products unless you know what is in it.

Listen to Beauty IQ the podcast. It’s run by Adore Beauty and the two girls are so funny and very informative. They have an episode on skin care routine. My routine has definitely changed since listening to them and I have become more consistent with it as well, I wasn’t very good before.

Start simple 🙂 Master each of these and move onto the next.
Get a good night’s sleep.
Drink water/hydrate
Wash your skin
Moisturise
Then look at any other things you may wish to address.

Start small, start simple and start with something you will enjoy like a bubble bath or face mask. Don’t feel pressured to buy everything at once and don’t be afraid to ask for samples in stores take them home and make sure you like them before you commit

I’d see a therapist or someone who works in a chemist like Terry White and they’re bound to be able to help. Or do some google research and see what steps you’d be happy to complete each day.

Start with a simple basic cleansing, toning and moisturising. Its important to know your skin type, eg dry, oily, combination, so you buy the correct products. Then go from there. Maybe add face masks, they’re a little bit of luxury in a tube

Do it simple combination comprised of a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. If it’s still working for you, stick with it, but ensure you add a broad-spectrum SPF…

I would start with a cleanser at night then put on a moisturiser to go to bed, but make sure they do not have chemicals in them you would not like to irritate your skin. Also handy to put on a good lip balm for the days.
You can go to the special counters where they makeup is sold or go to a beautician and get her to advise what skin you have and the best items for you to use.

Start with one thing at a time so you don’t overwhelm yourself or irritate your skin too much.
The first product I would add to your routine and one of the most important (if you aren’t doing so already) is an SPF which you should be applying daily. One of the main causes of a aging is UV damage so If you can do your beat to help prevent that, your skin will love you for it.
