I agree with getting to work earlier and also taking supplies for snacks, lunches and breaks. Also taking a walk when you can is beneficial for some time out and mental health.
The first day back is always usually a write off with checking emails. Spend the day refreshing your memory on what projects/jobs you were working on, and plan for the upcoming weeks.
Wake up earlier on the first day – less rushing around as you try to remember your regular routine.
Earlier this week I returned to full time work after 10 months parental leave after having my second… It’s been chaotic in our house getting kids ready, to care and then me to work and then the pick ups have bee insane too. I would also love to hear any tips other Mums have!
