You would need to have one hundred per cent supervision when there are kids playing there. I would be too stressed out about them being run over or someone kidnapping them

My brother and I used to climb our verge tree all the time as kids and fortunately never had an accident. Hanging a swing from the tree might mean that any accidents caused by the swing would be your fault – I wouldn’t risk it.

I think as long as you have a big verge and it doesn’t impact on pedestrians etc, then it’s a nice idea. I’d just be keeping my eyes on them like a hawk!

It’s a great outside activity, but in today’s world I wouldn’t leave the kids out there unattended, it’s just not safe unfortunately

yeah great idea until the neighbours complain. i hope that you live in a good neighbourhood. i am not trying to be mean but some people are negative like that and complain about everything.

It is a cool idea though, don’t get me wrong!

I’m not sure about the liability issues, but I think it’s a wonderful idea!
