  • Warm showers, nasal spray, dymadon, cuddles, lots of sleep and keeping warm.

  • Offer plenty of fluids. Liquids are important to avoid dehydration. …
Suction your baby’s nose. Keep your baby’s nasal passages clear with a rubber-bulb syringe. …
    Try nasal saline drops. …
    Moisten the air…
Raise the head of the bed to improve breathing…

  • Lots of hugs and love and a little aspirator to clear his nose is great to help him breath, I have also used Little Fess nose drops to help and it works great

  • Remedies only if he really needs it esp for fever, keep the nose clear with an asporator, baby rub

  • Yeah love and hugs are the best for when they are sick

  • Like the blueberries and kiwifruit too 🙂

  • Lots of fluids, rest, blueberries and kiwi fruit.

  • It depends on what sort of cold. If they have a high temperature please do not use vicks as it traps in the heat of the body and can cause them to overheat and start seizing. If it is a normal cold with no fevers then vicks with socks on their feet helps stop the nigh time coughing. If its a wet chesty cough then invest in a hamilayan salt lamp (can get a cheap one from health food stores for around $30) it helps take the moisture out of the room. If its a dry cough then you can get a humidifier. Be careful of burns and be sure to turn it off before bed.

  • let them rest on the couch with the tv or a tablet. lots and lots of fluids because they don’t really want to eat. keep an eye on temps. nice, warm foods, blankies

  • Vicks rubbed on the chest and back (even the feet sometimes) works a real treat, no going outdoors, plenty of rest with fluids and keep up the panodol or nurofen if there is a fever.

  • Baby/ childrens vicks vapo rub on the chest and back, a humidifier in their room durring the night, panadol if really miserable and lots of hugs, patience and tissues.

  • Hydration is key. Cuddles are also important!

  • We use Vicks on some if the feet, keep them hydrated, make soup and lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

  • If there is a runny nose/ blocked nose i found getting them to sit in the bathroom with no fan on while i had my shower helped for a little while, it kind of helped clear out the blockage. panadol helps along wih lots of extra drinks as they seem to wants less tto drink but more often. When i comes to eating i think just give them their fav food and if they eata heaps of it, it means they are getting better

  • Rest is best. If temps are high then some Panadol or neurofen can help. Easy to eat healthy foods (so as not to hurt a sore throat) work well. Mine also likes cuddles.

  • I remembered a time when my daughter was not even a year old and she couldn’t breath properly due to a cold. Due to strict advice and following directions , I bought Dimetapp and next minute she was cured . I think it has antihisteme to relieve cold symptoms, but check with the pharmacist to make sure its ok with your child .

  • All of the things you listed in your question! Plenty of rest too.

  • Children tend not to want to do much when they’re unwell so I find cuddling up on the couch and watching movies or reading books is usually restfull for the little ones.
