  • Soaking the clothes would do the job!

  • Surely it would wash straight out?! That’s what I would think, but I’m obviously wrong, I thought it was water soluble :/ Did you wash in warm water? I’m at a loss, I’m shocked to hear it stained

  • Once the colour has come out though I’m not sure your can fix.

  • Blu tack, use it as a dabber to dab it out,

  • Stain remover works!

  • Would love to know the answer, my kids have done this to their school uniform and I notice it as we walk out the door, argh!

  • interested to know what works as toothpaste has a bleaching agent.

  • Good luck toothpaste usually gets marks off the wall. Don’t know how u get it out clothes. All I can think is napisan

  • Don’t u hate that! Try making a paste out of napisan!

  • I hope you go t the answers you were looking for

  • Detergent and warm water should help

  • I have never had this problem… sorry

  • I was recently given some Preen stain remover to try and it seems great on absolutely anything!

  • Hope you managed to remove the stain :) would love to know what method was successful

  • Warm soapy water should work well-

  • I’ve never had toothpaste stain permanently, but it does require a bit of scrubbing. Good luck!

  • I would try and hand wash it in some detergent

  • I was interested in knowing the answer to this as I have a couple of items that have been bleached

  • Get rid of toothpaste stains by spot-cleaning with water and a little bit of detergent.
The titanium dioxide powder in toothpaste is what causes the white staining on clothing. It can’t get out unless there’s a detergent. Spot clean with some diluted detergent and a cloth for best results.

  • I use the aldi brand spot treatment and that seems to work on most stains worth a try
