How early is too early to take a pregnancy test?

Hello!

Ok. So I am day 20 in my cycle which is regular at 28 to 30 days. Today I have had some very light blush pink staining on my toilet paper. I am head achy for the past week. Cry at everything, feel sickly and are turned off food. I have read that you can test as soon as 7 to 10 days past ovulation which usually occurs around day 12 of the cycle if regular. Any thoughts. I know I should wait another week or two but I am feeling really impatient.

Depends what test you buy, make sure you buy one that says it can show you up to 6 days before periods are due.

I’d wait at least two weeks after a missed period.

I heard conception is usually 9 days after ovulation but I could be wrong

My understanding was 10 days after the first day of your missed period. You don’t always fall pregnant the day you have sex, the “female” sperm can last for a couple of days where as the “male” sperm are faster and die quicker

I’m sure there are tests out now that you can do within 24 hours, aren’t there?
