I stayed for 2 nights after a caesarian

Stayed 7 days but that was ok I had visits from family so it wasn’t all bad

2 days but I probably could have gone home sooner.

I stayed six days because I had a lot of problems breastfeeding.

I was in a private hospital and stayed 5 days as per their recommendation for a Caesarean section delivery. I regret not discharging myself earlier as I found the hospital stay distressing and uncomfortable and was much happier as soon as I got home. I only stayed the full 5 days so my baby could get all of the routine newborn tests done, but I found out afterwards that I could have had them all done by a midwife during a home visit.

8 days – I had twins and they wouldn’t discharge us until the boys had put on weight for two days in a row. Needless to say they took turns and when one achieved 2 days the other would drop weight. Of course one we were home they had no trouble putting on weight.

I had my first baby Tuesday morn and went home Thurs lunchtime. My second was born on a Wed and we went home late Sunday arvo

Ds1 – 5days(private hosp) vag birth
Ds2 – 3days(public hosp) vag birth with a major hemorrhage including a transfusion
Ds3&4(twins) – 4days(public hosp) c sec birth

I stayed 7 days due to complications, before I discharged myself. I was too stressed and uncomfortable by the end. They wanted to keep me in for 10 days.

10 days 🙁 due to some complications! Most people say stay as long as you can but I just wanted to go home

Two nights. My daughter was born at 16:30 on a Tuesday, and we went home on Thursday morning.
