  • Generally between $50 – $100 but if someone is super stingy with my kid and I know they can afford it then I will spend a similar amount

  • I think there are a lot of variables. I speak to my siblings and we work it all out together so its all pretty even.

  • I go with $20-$50 depending on how many there are, how close you are to them and your budget. When I was younger with heaps of disposable income, I’d spend $50-$100 each on 3 of them. We were also super close but now it’s closer to $30 because there’s 12 of them!

  • I generally spend around $50 for the family gifts, if buying for friends then around $30. It all depends on your budget too and how many you need to buy for. For me I only have 3 gifts to buy so $50 is ok. If I have 8 to buy it would be a different story! I do tend to keep an eye out during sales though and buy things early that are worth more too.

  • I think $30 is enough. I think it depends how many you have also. The more I have the less i spend on each.

  • It really depends, I think I spoil mine too much…I look at around $50 each…an item of clothing or little outfit and a small something that’s fun. These days if you’re prepared you can get bargains…they love superhero’s, I found awesome posters at the markets that I framed with frames from Kmart, they’ve gotten into gardening so tiny grass head kits less than $5 each from daisy, clothes I got earlier during sales when 50% off….closer to $100 worth of value but got good bargains 🙂

  • It depends it’s all up to you but 20 sounds just fine

  • 25-30 dollars I’d say. Generally it’s enough to buy something nice.

  • $25-$50 is reasonable, depending on how many you have and their age/s.

  • I think it depends on their age and how many children you have to buy for. I would say you can get pretty good things still for $20.

  • Spreading the expense over the year is also a good idea as gifts can be bought on sale.

  • Depending on their age $20 to $25 up to about 8 or 9 then $25 to $50 up to 16

  • I spend $50 on my nephew’s.

  • $20 is a good amount for Christmas gifts for extended family; particularly with a large group of people.
Buying gifts when on special assists with adhering to a budget and not being tempted to spend any extra dollars.

  • Between $30-$50 depending on age.

  • We spend $20 & we either present swap or just buy gift cards

  • Around $30-$50 each

  • Max 30$
