I always wash my Bath Mats every week just pop them in the washing machine but not with any other clothing

I wash them as soon as they begin to get smelly, and I put half a cup of white vinegar into the rinse section of the washing machine and that removes ALL of the odours. Vinegar is a wonderfully cheap product that will kill any fungus and remove all odours and I use it frequently when I am washing things that need freshening up.

It’s not a job I enjoy but the mats look great when they’re clean and fluffy.

About once a fortnight, and I wash them by hand and then the spin cycle before hanging them out to dry.

I was looking at a cleaning schedule andnit suggested to wash them every week – I do them when they look like it and in the machine

We keep a pile of cheap and cheerful ones – light and easy to wash and changed daily.

We personally don’t use bathroom mats as the gross me out thinking all the bacteria in them. We use a towel that the person before used to dry off with on the floor. And it gets changed every other day.

Mine are washed weekly, same as the towels. I put them thru with the rags and dogs towels

Daily wash – light weight ones seem to work the best for washing and drying.
