How soon is too soon for solids?

Hello!

Bub is only 6 weeks old and very unsettled. Mother in law suggested solids as her babies were on solids at 6 weeks. I think it’s too early. Help other mums

Definitely too early. Your baby can’t sit up yet, or hold their head up, or chew. She is wrong. You’re better off supplementing with formula if you think baby is hungry.

My son started solids at 3 and a half months. He was a bit of a hungas and milk wasn’t cutting it. When he started solids his sleep pattern was alot more steady
