Don’t over react, it seems to be what lots of little boys do. They seem to grow out of it, but even as they get older they do have a special security with the “doodle”. He will grow into a very healthy young man if you just relax.

Little boys do find it fascinating especially at bath time, its a phase they go through.

Try not to make too big a deal out of it. He will loose some interest in it after a while-though it is funny how boys never loose interest in it completely he he.

Put on a belt. He might not be able to fit his hand down there.

my son does this too. nearly 2 as well. as soon as i take the first side of nappy of his hand is down there. anytime he has nappy free time he plays with it a little and then stops! funny thing was when h first started playing he actually would pinch it quite hard. which gave him little frights. so now he does it softer. but he gets over it after a while. dont make a big deal out of it or i think he’ll do it even more.
