Hello!

Hi, I’m running out of inspiration for what dinners to prepare for my 14 month old! I would love to prepare some quick and easy toddler meals. Can you or any mums out there recommend some good (and quick and easy) toddler cook books please? Thanks!

  • Women’s weekly baby and toddler cook book is a good one. All the recipes are quick and easy and yummy. I also got the 4 ingredients for kids book and its pretty good too.

  • 4 Ingredients

  • To all who advocate for kids eating what adults do…. I’m not saying I disagree with concept but it just doesn’t always work that way…

  • yep – my kids eat whatever we eat – they are 3 years old and the ohte ris 6 month old. if we have cutlets, the little one just holds it an sucks on it. They both have cucumber sticks or carrot sticks or avacado for dinner too when we have salad as they don’t really eat lettuce. last night was sheperds pie so the 6 month old just had it mashed up a bit more. I always have only ever cooked one meal – eat it or leave it. I am harsh – but have never changed that rule and my kids know it. That way I cook one meal, wash up for one meal – and everyone is usually happy !! I find the 4 ingredients books good though if you want some simple/cheap ideas.

  • Annabel karmel had a great book through to 4yr old

  • Huggies website or whatever you are having 🙂

  • Mine eat what the grown ups eat, I agree with Jessica Scott on this point! It’s an odd notion that little ones can’t eat what adults do.

  • My 2.5yr old daughter & 10 month old son both love pasta with a veggie sauce & cheese!

  • Anabel Karmel! Used it for both mine and still using it

  • Why not give him/her whatever your having? I dont understand why people cook separate meals for their kids?

  • Heinz toddler cookbook is good too.

  • womans weekly one was great
