Hello!

Any ideas for leftover Christmas Turkey? The ham is easy but I’m not as sure with the Turkey.

  • Make a turkey pie, like a Sheppard pie. Or sandwiches?

  • You can shear the turkey meats and use it as filling for your bread roll or mix it with fried rice or fried noodle.

  • Turkey sandwiches, turkey cabanaara basically anything you’d do if it was chicken

  • It is really as versatile as having chicken so think of things you would use chicken in and substitute turkey. You could start with yummy sandwiches, you could make turkey patties I use mashed potato, chopped up meat any flavourings you like them shape into patties and roll in bread crumbs (I use gluten free ones.
You could also put in pasta bake or quiche, but slices and gently warm up in gravy serve with smart veggies and you have a second smart dinner.
Sliced the meat will freeze make sure you layer with plastic and cover well to prevent frost bite.

  • Also; have the leftover turkey with the leftover bread sauce; turkey, eggs, bread sauce and cranberries for breakfast! yummy!

  • Great for sandwiches, chopped up for pasta bake or in a salad or freeze slices and defrost as portions as you run out

  • I love turkey sandwiches, with cranberry jelly, lettuce, beetroot, grated carrot and cheese. Yum.

  • Left over turkey is best for the yummiest sandwich ever: Turkey, cranberry jam and Camembert!

  • I use left over turkey in curry.

  • If it was my house, turkey in a roll with gravy yum
