Hello!

After the arrival of my third baby and juggling all family life while adjusting to bodies more squishy look, what are some ideas other people have done to treat/look after themselves. Especially when feeling baby blues and lost in mum life juggle.

  • Me time is important even half an hour on the balcony to have a cuppaa

  • Eat healthy, have a few moments in a day where you just enjoy a cuppa or have a chat, go for a walk with bub

  • Some fresh air does wonders for the soul. Even if you can get 5 mins go sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy a cup of coffee. I’ve found simple things really do make a difference. For me personally in the early days I found that buying some nice smelling soaps for the shower and a good body lotion really felt like such a luxurious treat and made me feel a lot better. Now that my Bub is sleeping a bit better ( 3 months old) I’ve been trying to put a face / hair mask on once a week for some me time.

  • I have a 14 weeks old and 2.5 year old. For me getting fresh air and any form of exercise really works for me. Also there are times when I do get 5 minutes to myself, rather than doing chores(which always needs doing) I sit down and have a coffee.

  • You need to do something that focuses on just you. It’s hard to not lose yourself in life, me time is vital

  • I think it’s important to feel like you again after a baby so I would try and do something I loved doing before the baby. Exercise, reading, long baths, watching a movie, lunch with friends whatever works best for you.

  • Another good self care treat is a bubble bath, good book and some alone time.

  • Exercise and for me it is walking – it is great to get outside and walk and reflect and reconnect. Exercise releases all of those good endorphins. :) I make time for the things I enjoy and spending a little time each day on the things I enjoy is ‘me time’.

  • I joint the gym they have child minding in most gyms if you need it! I get to go out do some exercises I’ve meet so many other mums and feel great to
