Is it normal for a newborn to want to feed every 2 hours?

According to one site, breastfeeding should be on demand which is generally every 1-3 hours. I’m not sure if you’re breastfeeding or bottle feeding, but 2 hours is normal for either. It can vary. My youngest would feed slowly for hours sometimes, I watched a lot of TV glued to the couch.
