  • I was thinking about the same thing over Xmas as I was reading some simple recipes before deciding to make shortbread biscuits. I think All purpose are from the UK or U.S recipes on how they write plain flour . If it is written here, it always states SR or Plain so not really sure .


  • Yes, they’re the same thing. I’m pretty sure that the Americans call Plain Flour, All Purpose. It’s a bit confusing.
