  • i think if you get a meal planner and are prepared then it is ok. It’s not a long term diet though


  • Yes deffinantly and once your on it you notice how healthy you are eating it seems hard but I think it’s a great diet


  • I find it hard to stick to. no will power. I love the food but you need to be supported and organized.


  • Don’t do Keto to lose weight. As others have said, if you want to lose weight, do it by making good food choices and moving more. Make small changes that you can maintain and go from there. Once you start making better choices, you should notice a change in how you feel not just what you weigh, so you’ll keep it going rather than revert.
    Cutting food groups is a bad idea without talking to a nutritionist to ensure you receive all the nutrients you need, so don’t just rely on info from the internet, talk to someone who can assess your personal needs better.


  • Hi, I have started keto around two weeks ago. It can be challenging but very rewarding. I had a bit of a sugar blowout this weekend but I have spent today preparing for new week. Go on pinterest and search keto. You should be able to get some good lists of what you can and can’t eat to make it easy


  • I didn’t realise the keto diet involved cutting out food groups. I’m not for that at all. Everything in moderation if you plan on doing anything long term, even chocolate and takeaways :)


  • I have never understood cutting out major food groups, I don’t think it is sustainable. I have lost 12.7kgs in the last 8 weeks by doing 2 simple things: eating better and moving more. It is that simple. Download the app MyFitnessPal and every time you are thinking of eating something you log it first and decide whether it is worth it. Also, meal plan and eat whole foods if you can, the less processed the better. If you are interested in fitness too download the app C25K. It is the Couch to 5KM running program and you follow the running program 3x a week for 30 minutes each. Really improves your fitness.

  • No – do not do diets – I just follow healthy eating habits. Hope you have success in finding an answer.
