Cloth nappies can take a few soaks before the stains come out. Soaking solutions only last a short amount of time before they need to be rinsed and soaked again if the stains haven’t come out.

The longer you leave them the better the results . No more than 24 hours though.

Soak over night in cold water and wash them next day

I would soak overnight in Napisan and wash them the next day. The stains always came out.

I sometimes forget when I soak clothes and it could be up to an hour or 2 before I remember . I like the laundry to be clean and don’t like outstanding washing . My mother used to soak in the buckets for a while before she washed them if stained .

48 Hours is a good soak without a doubt!!

I dissolve my napisan in warm water then top up with tepid water before adding the rinsed dirty clothes. I always let them soak 24 hours minimum then wash.

I actually have a big bucket of soak made up and throw the things that need soaking into it straight away and only take it out when it needs to go in the washing machine.

I like to soak clothes during the day for 3-5 hours approx. I used to soak overnight but you can get some funky smells if you soak certain things for too long. If stains don’t come out after that I make napisan into a paste with some water, spread it directly on the stain and give it a few mins to work its magic before giving it a scrub and washing.
