  • I know such a thing exists, because I saw it once, intended to return to copy it (it was in a library) and never did… and have always regretted it. Which doesn’t help you very much, I’m sorry. I do recommend the Australian Women’s Weekly recipe site – can’t remember the specific name.

  • I did a quick search on this site in the recipes section and there is indeed a dairy free vegan chocolate mousse recipe that appears very simple. It might be worth finding this recipe which has been provided by another member of this community. The recipes section is truly terrific!

  • Maybe try a mousse with avocado. We often substitute ingredients with avocado and it works a treat and is so tasty in a variety of recipes. Maybe look in the recipes section on this site or online or in recipes books for mousse with avocado. Good luck with finding a recipe.

  • Not quite a mousse, but I’ve seen so many recipes for sweet and sneakily healthy recipes using the Ninja Creami. I’m pretty convinced to get one now. I’ve seen amazing looking desserts made with chickpeas, and you can grab one at a decent price fairly often. Check out the subreddit if you’re keen

  • Although i don’t have a recipe to share with you, i know that you can make a decadent and delicious chocolate mousse with avocado that tastes incredible! Also takes away that little bit of guilt too coz now it has veg! Try google the recipe. Good luck and hope it goes well!

  • You can make a yummy mousse with just cream, chocolate and a little vanilla essence. It’s basically 2 parts cream to one part chocolate and a splash of vanilla. Just make sure you use good quality chocolate as it’ll taste a lot better than if you use a cheaper brand 🙂

  • I have heard of creating a mousse with avocado and it supposedly tastes just like normal chocolate mousse. I think the recipe may even be on Mouths of Mums. If you google it and use Mouths of Mums in the search, it should easily take you straight to the recipe I’m thinking of.

  • I don’t have a good mousse recipe but i always look on Pinterest when I am looking for good recipes and ideas. Have you done a search on there yet, I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. There are so many recipes out there and all are very yummy.

  • Another good option to make an egg free chocolate mousse is by using soaked cashews ! Soaked cashews are really creamy and tongue tickling and protein rich as well. I’ve made lovely chocolate mousse with just soaked cashews, cut up dates, raw chocolate powder, a plant based milk, a pinch of salt and if you like a bit of coffee !

  • I used to make an avocado chocolate mousse recipe which doesn’t have eggs. It’s just avocado’s, raw cacao powder, maple syrup or raw honey, and a bit of coconut milk. At times I would add banana’s too. The only thing is that I would prefer it when freshly made as frozen it always alters the taste and texture a little.
