  • Great for our Family

    Cold Power Sensitive is one of my favourite gentle washing liquids. We are an allergy family, 3 out of 6 of us get eczema and it’s important to use a safe laundry detergent that’s gentle on our skin. Cold power sensitive is just as good at cleaning and it leaves our clothes clean every time. There’s no smell at all and you only need less than a lid for a wash.

    I have always been a sucker for the nice smelly detergents for my family, while they smell good, they probably aren't the best for the kids young, sensitive skin. When given the opportunity to give Cold Power Sensative a go, I figured why not! My toddler definitely gave this detergent a run for its money, covering his shirt in grass stains and chocolate ice cream, i thought it was done for! I was pleasantly surprised when it came out as good as new and not a stain in sight. It was gentle on the fabric and felt really lovely, will definitely be giving this one another go!

    Was excited to try this as hadn't had the chance to, but it's now a top favorite. I have a toddler with eczema and myself with skin sensitivities to certain fragrances and detergents. So, a big win that it free from fragrances and dyes and anything that could irritate skin. Perfect timing for this review as the past week I've been washing a lot of baby clothes for new bubs arrival. I have peace of mind that there won't be any strong fragrances on bubs clothes or anything that will irritate her precious skin (especially if she has eczema like big brother). Alot of bubs clothes were hand me down from her big sister that have been in storage for years and they had that storage smell, but they've come out perfect and fresh smelling. Extra bonus to loving how the liquid detergent works well, it's great that it's available at most big retails for wherever you shop and comes in little and big bottles (because when you have 4 kids you go through ALOT of washing).

  • Great for delicate garments

    Good to have a detergent designed for cold water, especially when I need to wash delicate garment. It’s gentle but can wash well. Also a trusted product for my toddler’s laundry. Of course best of all the power bill! Being able to save money by not using too much electricity for water but still can tackle the laundry loads!

    First time using Cold Power Sensitive and I’m really impressed. Clothes came out properly clean (yes, even the daycare ones!) but with no strong smell, which I love. No irritation on sensitive skin either (huge win). It worked great in a cold wash and everything feels fresh and soft. So far, so good - I’ll definitely be buying it again.

    Cold Power Sensitive has been a game changer, especially for my boy who has now developed a reaction to our usual go to sensitive laundry product. I was hesitant at first but this has been very gentle and he’s woken up with no wolverine marks on his body.

  • Our go to for newborn to 5 years

    As a first time Mum trying to do all the right things, I was told 'make sure you wash all the baby clothes only in a sensitive laundry wash'. Of course I went for a brand I knew- but I was sceptical as the sensitive wash seemed bland etc. I am so glad I did my research and went for the brand I knew and trusted. We have now used the Cold Power Sensitive Laundry Liquid for three babies. I love the safeness it provides to a new Mum by not having any fragrance, and not having any colour. It leaves all clothes and towels soft, no irritation, and still cleans the washing to a perfect standard. The other bonus is although it can be expensive compared to the no name brands- every second week you will find ot half price at one of the major supermarkets. Brilliant laundry liquid for sensitive or fresh skin, or even just because you like a laundry wash that pared back.

    ‘Cold’ and ‘sensitive’ are my new favourite words! Works brilliantly with stains, especially when I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old who go to daycare!

  • Gentle and effective

    I love this product and it’s already the product I am buying regularly. I have a 2yo at home and something gentle on her skin but can effectively remove all the dirts is what I need, which cold power does a perfect job. It gives me a good level of comfort

  • An easy swap, with so many benefits!

    As a mum of 3, ranging from 2 years through to 15 years of age who all have sensitive skin, I’m always on the lookout for products I can trust, that won’t irritate their skin, while still giving the results promised.

    I’ve tried my share of laundry powders and liquids that claim to be sensitive, but often leave the washing dull, not quite clean or end up with itchy dry irritation to the skin.

  • Full time working mum of 8

    The reality of being a full time working mum isn’t glamorous. Currently have two families living in one house with kids ranging from 13 years old to 1 week old. Dirt, grass, daycare mess and everything else you can imagine. Not just the kids but the adults 1 breast feeding mum. One mum working full time and one dad that regularly hits the gym coming home sweaty and smelly. It’s hard to find a laundry liquid that fits all. Some with skin sensitivity some without. The worry about any reaction the new born baby may have. Have honestly found this laundry liquid to be amazing keeps the clothes clean, bright and fresh. No smelly gym clothes no smelly school sock. Amazing. Safe to say we will be switching to this brand on the regular. As we have about two loads a day it also seems to go the distance. My picture isn’t a glamorous one but the reality of my life at the end of most days.

  • Great for sensitive little skin

    I'm always extremely cautious with products I use for my little ones clothing because they both have hyper sensitive skin that reacts to a lot of products. But cold power sensitive was great! We had no reactions from either of the kids and our clothes were left feeling fresh and clean.

  • Great cleaning results!

    I’ve been using this for my 18-month-old son and it’s been great. I’ve tried a couple of ‘sensitive’ washes, but this one is noticeably better in terms of cleaning power (even with all the toddler mess!), and the clothes come out fresh, soft and comfy, I’d definitely recommend it for little ones with delicate skin.

  • Great for Sensitive Skin!

    I’ve purchased this detergent in preparation for my baby being born. It was important to me to use something on her clothes that was going to be able to clean properly, but be gentle on her sensitive newborn skin.

    I pre washed her clothes prior to her birth, and have continue to wash them since her arrival. I love that we’ve not had any rashes, that there is no strong fragrance to irritate us. And it cleans those newborn poop blow outs too, so win win!

  • Impressed!

    It's been years since I tried out a Cold Power product, but I have sensitive skin (prone to flare-ups of dermatitis) and need to be careful with the soap I use on my body and my clothes. I like that this liquid didn't have a strong smell but still left my laundry feeling fresh and clean. I always wash my clothes in cold water too, so I also like that this is specially formulated for that.

    I had some clothes that had a small stain on them and used the Cold Power to soak them for 30minutes - I didn't notice any immediate results but after a cycle in the machine they came out nice and fresh. I have also done a load of bedding and towels using this detergent which performed well on those too.

    This is a really good product. Cleans well gets rid of stains and works well for the full household with kids and babies. Scent is not so strong. I love this

  • Tried it before and it’s definitely one of the better companies to do surveys with. They make it so easy, the website is easy to navigate and the surveys are generally not too long. It’s easy to do whilst on the couch or filling in time! Definitely worth checking out to earn some extra cash.

  • Purkle is fun! Not a lot to earn from but if you like filling up surveys or voicing ypir opinions, it is definitely worth a try. Sometimes there are survey on music which are the most fun ones and also, these are the ones that reward the most. Not bad to earn a gift card or 2 in a year!

  • I love Purkle. While the surveys don’t award massive sums, the surveys themselves are never long. Other platforms want a minimum of 10 minutes which can be hard to commit to during day time chaos. It doesn’t take long to accumulate a decent sum, and I use gift cards as a way to treat myself. They can be redeemed for grocery gift cards. I’ve cashed out over $200 in a year and a half. Give it a go!

  • I’ve been with Purkle for a few years now. One of my favourite survey and money earning platforms. Easy to build up a balance and redeem your earnings. Love sitting down and completing my purkle surveys, to see balance grow. I use this to treat myself or put towards presents for Christmas

  • I’m not having any luck with purkle. I tried to sign up for it and it just wasn’t working so I emailed them and didn’t hear back, I just tried again now and managed to create an account but then the activation email contained no link to click and actually activate my account. From the comments here it looks like I’m not missing anything anyway

  • I’ve earnt a bit through Purkle and other survey sites. They are great passive income. I don’t mind that Purkle pays in gift cards as it provides a great opportunity for me to buy something for myself as opposed to putting cash away for expenses. But cash is always good!

  • Surveys have been great to keep me awake while feeding my newborn at night but I agree with some of the comments that the time commitment is too high for the benefit. I do not believe i will continue using it once baby starts to sleep through and get through feeds quicker.

  • I tried Purkle for approx 1 year and quite frankly it’s really not worth your time
    Very few surveys and very low amounts paid
    Worst thing is it only pays in gift cards so no cash
    I gave up and just stuck with my original survey site that I’ve been using for years
    It makes me $120 average in PayPal a week without too much effort and supplies the family with an annual holiday without touching the household budget

  • It’s a shame I’m already a member and can’t enter the competition. Surveys in general – including Purkle – can be a good way to earn some money, but just remember you won’t earn much from any one survey. It does add up over time though, and isn’t particularly difficult to do.

  • This is a nice way to earn a bit extra money but you won’t earn a lot. Some surveys time out too which is annoying or hey just stop working half way through. If you have spare time and want to do it then why not. I sometimes do these on the train on my way to work and it slowly builds up to allow you to get a reward. It all helps.

  • I joined Purkle ages ago but to be honest I have never used it and totally forgot that I joined let alone that I could be earning money and points while being at home. Any opportunity to make some money and try to help financially, off I go to rejoin I think!

  • Purkle is a great surveys site. I’ve redeemed vouchers from there. You’re not going to make a fortune from it but you do definitely earn for your time. I haven’t done any for a while as I just haven’t had rhe time but I’ll definitely get back into it. The vouchers always come in handy.

  • The inner sceptic in me will prevent me signing up! I’m not against a survey, however I would rather do one here and there when I can with the incentive of winning something big! Even a $100 voucher. At the rate I win, it works out better than signing up for this.
