Vinegar is great but if you have a child that is prone to sezuires or someone that visits often prone to them it might pay to check if vinegar is a trigger for them

At home we use domestos in the shower and Vinigar with Dish soap for the shower screen. Bi-carb soda and vinigar is good for tiles and grout. Depnds what you’re using it for.

Vinegar is a great solution (I buy the extra strength). In the past, I have also used 8% Hydrogen Peroxide. It is harder to find though.

I mix water and vinegar in equal amounts and use it on the mould. It’s worked so far but it does tend to come back.

Good ventilation helps prevent mold.

I usually use oil of cloves mixture from Shannon Lush – it works for me.

Very interesting to read about oil of cloves for mold. I’ve always used diluted tea tree oil or bleach (if the surface is white).

Oil of cloves in a spray bottle kills mould spores

I had some mould on my bedroom blockout curtains, very disappointed. But after researching, I found, Oil of Cloves is perfect for removing, and killing, mould spores. A small bottle at pharmacy, only need a few drops, into some water. With a cloth, just clean away. And, I do love the smell of cloves. Never had a problem on the curtains again.

I dab clove oil on a cotton bud and leave it to soak in the problem area! It seems to kill the mould. Mould grows where it’s wet so sort out why the area is so wet. Wipe up puddles and keep a window open for air to dry up any dampness.

Vinegar. Repeat until it works.

I use double strength white vinegar (from the supermarket), spray it on and leave for 5-10 minutes, then spray again with boiling water. Takes a few attempts, but it does seem to help.

I always use vinegar and water in spray bottle and spray the area and leave and see how it goes and if no difference use stronger mix then spray again and mix some bicarbonate soda in paste and spray in the area and leave on it.

I’ve tried everything myself and nothing has worked. Ecoworx did a great job but it kept returning. Had to put in new grout then just kept on top of the situation by making sure there was plenty of air and using Ecoworx once a week on it. Haven’t had a problem since.

The only thing I found that fully removed mould was bleach. But I believe the lemon juice and or vinegar is good to stop it from recurring

I find vinegar and water dilution works well. I like to add a little lemon oil too for a fresher smell
