Teething?

The popping off and crying while feeding can be a sign of overtirenes. My little girl would never sleep much in the day and when I finally got her to sleep it would last 40mins. Her feeding was very much like you are describing and I thought I might of had low milk supply or she had reflux but it turns out she was severely overtired and once I started co sleeping with her all the fussiness began to disappear. I would defantly have your bub checked over by your health professional and if they can’t find a cause I would maybe look into overtireness as a possible cause. If you google overtireness in infants it explains what to be looking for. Most babies start really dribbling at 3 months as their salivary glands suddenly turn on. Our pead told us that drooling is not really a sign of teething but it is shown that a baby that drools more has less pain when teeth finally do erupt due to the gums being moist and eaiser for the teeth to break through.

Could be teething, could also be some reflux. I would see your GP.

He is starting to teeth, hopefully his teeth will cut early for you and things will settle down

Sounds like teeth coming, all 3 of my kids got their first tooth at three months and they dribbled constantly. The important thing is to keep their neck dry, my 2nd got a bad skin infection because his neck was wet all the time in the skin folds. Good luck.

My little one started dribbling when he was around 3 months as well, but the teeth didn’t come through until he was around 7 months old. Each baby is different – our friends’ baby was teething at 3 months. We invested in a LOT of absorbent bibs at around the 3-month mark. Sounds like a combination of teething and a wonder week. Speak to your pharmacist about hylands teething tablets or there’s another natural product that you can buy in liquid form to help with teething pains. Can you wrap or wear your little one to allow you to have 2 hands free. Try different wrapping/swaddling techniques to get some sleep

Sounds like you have a normal little baby on your hands
All babies dribble, gets worse around 3/4 months as teeth are moving under the gums & they don’t have the tongue control to push the spit back far enough to swallow.
But if ever you are worried it is always best to see your gp or health nurse, doesn’t matter if its something little, they understand!

Sounds like teething, first teeth begin cutting around three months.I still would check local nurse or doctor to be sure.

My son when he was around this age settled best when given a nice relaxing bath (with J&J Bed Time Bath with the lavender in it, purple bottle), wrap baby in warm blanket, followed by a nice warm bottle and sleep should follow….
