Hello!

Who has had a lower body lift, breast lift and implants? Booked in for August and I’m so nervous. Super excited to have it done after losing 53 kilos but just not keen for the recover. Would love to hear about others experiences.

  • Congratulation on the weight loss. Sorry, I have no experience with plastic surgery.

  • No. Haven’t had it done. Well done on all the kilos that you have lost. A mega effort. I was too scared for any type of surgery post-pregnancy. (I had twins and stretched a lot, separated etc. but was too scared to get anything done to tidy up the saggy bits; the separation sometimes causes ‘weak core’ issues but I just prefer to leave alone. Over many years there has been some small improvements in tone and sagging reducing, but not fixed yet). Good luck. If you have any doubts then I think it’s very natural. So long as there is no pressure from others (even subtle pressure like how you ‘should’ look), and you’ve checked out all the risks and benefits I think you’ll be okay. The recovery did put me off the separation surgery and also they said no guarantee it wouldn’t part again, oh, and I’d never be able to do gym work again. So I wasn’t happy with that. Just got to live with the saggy bits after that.
