Hello!

In my 1st pregnancy (2015) I received my Blue Pregnancy Health Record book on my initial GP visit and took it everywhere with me. Now pregnant with no 2 and just curious if they still do it, as I wasn’t give one by my new GP.

  • I love these handy books. Ive got all my kids records still from years and years ago. My niece just received her from her antenatal carer at 30 weeks.

  • You should get one from the hospital and then when after birth the childhood centre assesses the book when you take the baby for checkups. I still have mine from 20 years ago for my daughter but lost my son’s one . These books can easily be lost if not careful.

  • These were given 30 odd years ago but can’t comment about now. sorry.
Hope you get the help you seek.

  • Yes i got given one by the hospital in my first appointment

  • I got a red one for both my boys and I am in qld

  • Are you referring to your hand held health record?
These are usually given to you after you have your booking in visit with your antenatal provider.
I am currently pregnant with my third baby and have only received them upon visiting the hospital for antenatal at approx. 19/20 weeks .

  • Is this blue book a Health Record from your pregnancy of your baby ?
